The editorial team of RailTech has prepared the ‘Track Access Charges Magazine’. It covers various aspects of access charging on rails.

“Our editorial team has created the ‘Track Access Charges Magazine’ where you can find more information about Track Access Charges for rail. “We go back into the history of cost allocation for the use of rail infrastructure and you can find interviews with associate professor Stefan Marschnig of TU Graz, Executive Director Libor Lochman of CER and Justina Hudenko, CEO of LatRailNet,” says Marieke van Gompel, editor-in-chief of RailTech. TAC Summit

ProMedia is organising the Track Access Charges Summit for the fifth time. This year the event will be held on 21-22 April in Riga, the capital of Latvia. To discuss the topic, ProMedia has invited the rail experts from several European countries including Austria, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Switzerland, the United Kingdom as well as the EU railway bodies.

The event programme includes five sessions that cover various aspects of the charging system on rails: competition between the modes of transportation, development of rail freight corridors, implementation of the EU directives, cost issues and the minimum access package.
