HS2 “green tunnel” for Solihul

Britain’s new high-speed railway, HS2, connecting London and Birmingham, has been approved to build a “green tunnel” under Burton Green, a community lying east of Solihull, in the English West Midlands. The 400-metre green tunnel will help protect an area of natural beauty, and speed trains on to the nearby interchange station, a few minutes down the line.
