UK RIA responds to election manifestos
The UK Railway Industry Association has not been standing back from the political platform edge. The RIA has spoken up again, as Britain moves into the end game of the General Election campaign. The vote in the simple majority, “first past the post”, poll will take place on 4 July. Although the railways do not have a vote, the state of the national infrastructure is a factor in the manifesto of each of the political parties, who seek to govern and play a part in the decision-making after the votes are counted.
