voestalpine Railway Systems and Egyptian National Railways (ENR) earlier this month joined forces to produce high-quality switches at ENR’s existing factory in Cairo. According to voestalpine, the cooperation is a stepping stone to further activities in Egypt, which it describes as “the most dynamic rail market on the African continent”.
