Italy’s RFI launches major tender for new railway expansion

Rete Ferroviaria Italiana is targeting the expansion of the Orte-Falconara line in central Italy. To that end, it has launched a tender worth more than 394 million euros for the construction of a section of railway parallel to the existing line.
