Adif allocates additional millions for Barcelona-Girona-Portbou improvements

Adif has earmarked another 22,3 million euros for investment in the Barcelona-Girona-Portbou railway line. The money will used for the installation of a new security and communication system. The money comes on top of the 57,5 million euros already allocated to the improvement works on the line.

Yes, railways, by far is the safest during transports, on shore. Still, for ware owners Mode, now is too risky, thereby too costly. (Just a minority among
ware owners affords luxury, of not caring about “eta”…)
Current, low price, “standards”, has turned high cost, in particular and even worse, as “steering”, extras upon majority, is justified, by mere shortcomings of railways…
At a vital device of society, now Goal of EU…, calls for safety, relevant, as well, at science of logistics!
