DB sets new targets for recycled steel and track ballast

Deutsche Bahn (DB) is targeting a 45-percent share for recycled rail steel by 2030, almost doubling its previous target. The company’s target for the share of recycled track ballast has tripled to around 40 percent, CEO Richard Lutz announced on Thursday.
