TU Delft questions rail professionals
Delft University of Technology is providing an anonymous survey on the use of trains in everyday life. The results will be used by the institution within the European project MOVINGRAIL.
The MOVINGRAIL project is devoted to improve line capacity and reduce wayside life-cycle costs by implementing Virtual Coupling (VC). This technology will allow the railway operators to keep the distance between trains and increase the train frequency without affecting rail safety. Therefore, the researchers are questioning rail professionals and ordinary passengers on how they use trains.
Would you like to have more frequent train services, so you would be able to better organize your lifestyle and spend more time on the things you like? With the implementation of advanced railway signalling, namely Virtual Coupling (VC), you can have more flexibility in choosing a train service, thus better time management.
Could you please take 10 minutes to fill the survey? This would help us to get more insight about the demand forecast for the implementation of Virtual Coupling (VC).
The survey is anonymous. Please share it with your institute, relatives and friends.
