RailTech Europe 2024 has kicked off this Wednesday with a blast. Jaarbeurs Utrecht transformed into the place to meet for the European railway sector, with over 100 participating parties at the exhibition, a dynamic conference and more than 35 workshops. Here’s a selection of what happened on day 1.

Railway is a complex and most vulnerable system for transport, where:
On Time, now is high quality.
Edge is load.
Niche: for persons is regional and for wares interregional.
On shore, by far the safest, etc.,
Rail is a “must”.
Infrastructure, mere railway, etc., basics, a technicality, now is Bottleneck!
(Reactively, defensively and suboptimal, now quality of track is traded, against “optimal maintenance”, etc…)
Accordingly, a New Old Railway, a resilient and redundant is needed!
