Winners of the RailTech Innovation Awards announced

After much anticipation, the winners of the RailTech Innovation Award 2024 were announced today during the first day of the RailTech Europe 2024 conference. The award ceremony took place at Rail Tech Europe in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. Winners were selected in three categories: digitisation, technology and design, as well as infrastructure.

But of course! Sink holes, “voids”, detected – and “anticipated”…, safely as well (not, as currently, just those, now, the most anticipated, the particular at transit zones)? Truly, this is great and good news!
Proactive attending now, finally, shall be a simple technicality – and replace the current devastating and reactive, or?
Now needed, but so far missing, sustainable, high quality ballasted tracks, as well, by Innovation is provided for?
Problem, uneven track stiffness and labile railway ballast beds, basic, is not attended, by Innovation.
Neither proactive, nor resilient, but at most a temporary balance – still to be the calculated with, or?
Regardless how, detected, etc., currently, the in no respect optimal, the reactive…, “lifting and tamping” – and “optimal maintenance”…, the costly and damaging, regrettably in no way is sustainable – but symptom of Problem!
