ÖBB converts Salzburg train station into outdoor cinema

Austrian national railway company ÖBB organises several culture events at Salzburg train station. The location will become a place for outdoor cinema and dance classes. The events will take place at the station during May.

On Friday, 3 May, Salzburg railway station will become a place for cinema fans. In the late evening, an outdoor cinema will be opened at the location. The event agenda includes the screening of the film “The Best of All Worlds” directed by Adrian Goiginger. The movie was shot in Salzburg, the home city of the director. The event is organised by ÖBB together with the city of Salzburg. The outdoor cinema will be free of charge.

Dances

The square near the train station will also become a stage for dances. On 9 May a dancing group ‘Locking Unity’ will make a performance. On 15 May hula hoop and circus stunts will be performed by Franxi Natra. At the end of the month, several dance classes will be carried out on the station square. Everyone can participate in the events for free.
