The British infrastructure agency Network Rail has been reviewing the past five years of its ongoing investment programme. The UK Government body has just concluded its sixth five-year plan, or “Control Period Six” (CP6) as it was better known. The agency says it rose above an inherited shambles on the national timetable, and a slight issue with something called the pandemic. Nevertheless, it claims to have delivered a long succession of projects to enhance the network in Great Britain.
