Île-de-France Mobility’s 2023 punctuality “satisfactory”

New fully automatic metro for Line M4 in Paris Île-de-France Mobilités

While punctuality and service quality had significantly deteriorated between September and December 2023, the situation is now improving at RATP on the Paris metro. However, some issues persist, many of which are external factors to the operators, such as extensive construction works and traffic conditions complicated by urban development.

For sake of sustainability any railway track, anywhere, relying upon labile stability, at ballastbed (now majority)soundly and safely should prove resilient (adopting, to by random shifting track stiffness, to “voids”, etc.).
Suboptimally, single available alternative is frequent and costly “optimal maintenance” (disturbing, the current).
A decisive shift, to a new, a robust railway track standard, now seriously should be considered – at Industry and at nations – at Commission, etc., etc.!
