French Athlete Trésor Makunda adorns SNCF TGVs
To mark the occasion, starting from April 17, exactly 100 days before the commencement of the games, Trésor Makunda, a para-athlete with SNCF Voyageurs and an employee of the TGV-INTERCITÉS department, who is visually impaired and qualified for the Paralympic Games in the 100 metres event, has lent his image for the wrapping of several TGV INOUI locomotives and one INTERCITÉS locomotive.
In anticipation of the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics, this wrapping, carried out by the teams at the Lyon-Gerland Technicentre, features the athlete in full sprint on two locomotives of a train on the South-East Axis.
Three additional TGV INOUI trains will be wrapped in the coming days on the East, Atlantic, and INTERCITÉS axes.
Since Athens 2004, Trésor has been representing France at the Paralympic Games. With multiple medals to his name, he secured silver in the 100 metres event in Athens and numerous victories at the World and European Championships, as well as in Tokyo, London, and Beijing.
