What is RailTech Premium?

RailTech.com, the independent news site for the rail tech industry, launched a premium model on the 2nd of April. This means that articles, except for general news, will only be available to members. In this way, the editorial team aims to ensure the quality and independence of the reporting and be an even better source of information for professionals in the rail tech industry.

How do I get access?

My ProMedia is our online portal where you arrange your subscriptions by yourself. You can manage contacts, change and/or add administrators and assign reader licenses. You can log in to My ProMedia via: https://my.promedia.nl/s/login/

Enter your e-mail address and password to log in.

What can I manage myself?

My ProMedia has two profiles: the administrator and the user.

In the self-service portal, you can change your password, change your contact details and give reader’s licences to colleagues. My ProMedia has two profiles: the administrator and the user. Thanks to these different levels, you work in your own environment and you have different rights.

The administrator

An administrator is able to see all active subscriptions of the entire organization, remove and assign readers licenses to colleagues, reset passwords of users and change the company’s address. It is also possible to create multiple administrators within My ProMedia. All functionalities are accessible for this profile.

The user

The user has only access to their personal information, such as their profile and their licenses.
It is also possible to change their password themselves.

My ProMedia provides easy and fast access to your subscriptions. There is no need to wait for the office opening hours or the availability of our employees. You manage when it suits you!

How can I change my subscription? 

If you want to change your subscription, please send an email to our customer service via customerdesk@promedia.nl. Your request will be handled as soon as possible.


How can I add new users? 

Only an administrator is allowed to assign a reader’s license to other users.
In the menu click on ‘User management’, then click on ‘Add user’ in the right upper corner.
Fill in the personal details of the new user. Only a personal email address is allowed.
Then go to ‘subscriptions’ in the menu, click on ‘Licenses’ within the subscription of interest and assign a license to the new user.

The user will automatically receive an email via accounts@promedia.nl with an instruction to set a password. After setting they are able to log in on RailTech.com

If I buy a subscription now, when will I have access?

If you buy a subscription via this page, you have direct access.


How can I cancel a subscription?

You can cancel your subscription by sending an e-mail to our customer service (customerdesk@promedia.nl). Customer service will send you a cancellation confirmation email.


How can I pay?

You can pay via invoice and credit card. Please note: you can only select the payment method ‘paying by invoice’ on the website. However, after creating your member account, you will receive an e-mail including the invoice and a direct link to pay via Ideal, Bancontact, credit card (Mastercard or Visacard).


Reset Password

I forgot my password. What can I do?

Go to my.promedia.nl/login and click on ‘forgot your password?’. Fill in your email address as your user name and you will receive an email to reset your password.
