Three Country Train completes festive first run between Aachen, Maastricht and Liège

Last Sunday, the long-awaited ‘Three Country Train’ was incorporated into an international timetable. Travellers can now travel between Liège (Belgium), Maastricht (the Netherlands) and Aachen (Germany) and almost all intermediate stations without having to change trains. On the Wednesday before, however, the train already made its first, festive ride with the parties involved.

The train serves about half of all possible stops along the line, skipping several smaller stations east of Maastricht.
