Trenitalia and Basilicata Region sign 10 year service contract

The Basilicata Region, in Southern Italy, and Trenitalia, the lead company of the FS Group Passengers Division, have signed a new service contract for the period of 2022-2031, the Italian company announced last Friday. The ten-year agreement entails approximately 98 million euros in investments, with 8 new Pop trains, new connections, and more kilometres covered by trains per year.
