RegioJet extended its train services between Croatian coastal city of Rijeka and Prague, Bratislava or other cities to a daily frequency. Every day trains depart in both directions from Prague and Rijeka offering direct connection also from and to Bratislava (SK), Ljubljana (SLO), Csorna (HU) or Brno and Pardubice in Czechia.

More than 40,000 tickets have already been sold. Ticket prices are exceptionally low – for a one-way ticket including reservation and all services – for a trip in a coach with seats, passengers pay the price from 22 euros; for a ticket to a couchette car, the price starts at 30 euros.

The ticket price always includes seat reservation and on-board services that passengers receive during the trip – including free coffee and breakfast, internet connection or free entertainment portal and offer of other on-board services. RegioJet also extended the number of bicycles, which can be booked for transportation to 30 and launched “silent” couchette coaches for those who want to relax and sleep without any disturbance during the whole journey.

Multinational offer

Besides holiday trips for Czech, Slovak or Hungarian passengers to Croatia, the train is also perfect for holiday trips of Croatian and Slovene citizens to Prague, Brno or Bratislava. Also for them, it brings the chance to visit Czechia or Slovakia for an affordable price. The train can also be a great offer for Austrian passengers boarding the train in Bratislava (connecting with RegioJet buses from Vienna) or from Dresden area in Germany, connecting to the train in Prague.

The trains run as a night service and passengers are able to book a seat in the three types of carriages: an Astra seat coach with individual screens in seats, a seated coach with compartments for groups and a couchette coach with bed compartments for groups and individuals. The single tickets for the first two types cost at least 22 euros. A minimum price for a journey in the couchette coach is 30 euros. During the trip, the passengers are able to order drinks and other small snacks. The trainset consists of 12 cars with a total capacity of 560 seats.
