Alstom to equip another Romanian railway line with ERTMS

Alstom is set to modernise the Caransebes-Lugoj railway line in western Romania through the implementation of the ERTMS Level 2 signalling system. The project, part of the broader Caransebes-Lugoj-Timisoara railway line inițiative, will encompass 40 kilometres of double track, integrating digital train control solutions and electrification in its first phase.
