DB embarks on next step in digitising switches and combatting failures
In the upcoming round of installations, DB Netz will equip 3,500 switches with a predictive maintenance system 2023, KONUX
DB Netz will equip more switches and crossings with KONUX Switch predictive maintenance system. The next round of installations builds on a 2020 framework agreement with KONUX. The artificial intelligence-driven solution can allow for better maintenance planning and timely repairs, which should reduce switch failures and delays.
