Korean consortium wins design contract for Polish high-speed line

A consortium comprising state-owned Korea National Railway (KNR) and engineering and construction firm Dohwa Engineering has won the contract for the design of the new Katowice – Ostrava railway between Poland and Czech Republic. The cross-border line will be constructed as part of the works associated with the Centralny Port Komunikacyjny (CPK) project, which calls for a new airport and new road and rail infrastructure.
