Swiss BLS faces massive cost overrun for Lötschberg tunnel works

Swiss railway company BLS now estimates that renovation works in the Lötschberg tunnel will cost 180 million Swiss franc (183,4 million euro). This represents a cost overrun of 75 million franc over the original 2018 estimate, the company said on Wednesday.
