Modernisation of SNCF’s Villeneuve-Saint-Georges Technicentre advances

Last week, Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) and Transilien SNCF Voyageurs signed a 590-million euro financing agreement for the renovation of the Villeneuve-Saint-Georges (TMV) Maintenance Technicentre in the Val-de-Marne. The intention is to make it the most modern rail technical centre in France, and suited to maintenance of the double-decker rolling stock of RER lines D and R.
