2021: Total infrastructure spending up in Europe and stable in France

France appears to be lagging behind in the rollout of ERTMS. In 2021, France’s infrastructure maintenance spending was also lower than the European average. These are some of the conclusions of a recent report by the French Autorité de régulation des transport (ART).
