Repair works have begun on one of Scotland’s most iconic examples of railway infrastructure. Glenfinnan Viaduct serves a remote line in the West Highlands. The century-and-a-quarter-old concrete structure is in daily use and it now requires a lengthy programme of renovation, to keep it fit for the next century and more.
