Even though there is considerable scepticism from the government, and the rollout of ERTMS finds itself in what State Secretary Vivianne Heijnen describes as “turbulent waters,” ProRail continues unabated with its ERTMS ASAP program. This is evident from the account provided by the program management on its website. They still hope to save both time and money during the rollout of ERTMS, whenever and however it takes place. We present the story here in full.
