Pressure group proposes lifeline to Alstom Derby

The doors have all but locked on the Alstom train assembly plant in Derby. The famous Litchurch Lane Works has run out of work, and faces imminent closure, with the loss of all remaining jobs. However, a leading pressure group says it would take just ten trains to keep the 3,000 engineers and support staff employed and keep the works open.
