Employees of NS paint a different picture to the Volkskrant regarding the discontinuation of the ICE to Basel (Basel) this coming summer than a spokesperson from the Swiss rail company SBB did earlier. SBB cited track maintenance as the reason, but according to NS employees, it is mainly due to reluctance from Deutsche Bahn.
