Advancing Rail, Empowering the Future: registration opens for RailTech Europe ’24
On 6 & 7 March 2024 in Utrecht, the Netherlands, the 15th edition of RailTech Europe kicks off. The event combines an exhibition and workshops with important railway industry companies from around Europe with a high-level two-day conference about the most relevant themes the industry faces today. Expecting over 8,000 attendees, visitor registration has opened on Monday 4 December.
The railway sector has a big role to play in reducing transport emissions, being the most low-carbon mode of land transport. How can we further advance rail, and empower the future? Innovations and new technologies can be key, which will be showcased at the RailTech Europe exhibition floor. In more than 20 workshops, industry expert speakers will dive into a topic, technology or issue that needs solving.
The RailTech Europe Conference will zoom in on the future of rail in four different topics: High-speed Rail, Signalling & Cybersecurity, Competition in Passenger Rail and Reducing Emissions. By combining an exhibition, workshops and a conference, this event draws a varied audience: ranging from hands-on technical experts and engineers, to management, rail policymakers and sector organisations. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to gain new and unique insight into the future of European rail.
What is RailTech Europe about?
RailTech Europe ’24 kicks off on Tuesday 5 March with an exclusive networking evening on the RailTech Express Dinner Train. With 108 exhibitors in the previous 2022 edition from around the continent, RailTech Europe will once again become the meeting place for railway professionals next year. It will be the first large exhibition of 2024, and though not the biggest rail exhibition in Europe, there are visitors and companies with dedicated time, and the exhibition floor is easy to navigate. A staple of the event, the RailTech Innovation Awards will be granted to the most innovative railway solutions. The exhibition and workshops are free for everyone to visit.
Four main topics that the railway industry is dealing with will be discussed during the RailTech Europe Conference, which includes presentations, panel discussions and interaction with the audience. Each conference session is half a day, and multiple sessions can be combined, as well as with a visit to the exhibition floor. Lunch and networking drinks are included. The preliminary programme outline of the conference and currently confirmed speakers can be found on the website, which will be updated with new speakers.
