Alstom announced an agreement with SL to supply an additional 20 Movia C30 metro trains, expanding the existing fleet to a total of 116 metro trains. This agreement builds upon the initial contract signed in 2013, which included an order for 96 metro trains with an option for 80 more. With this extension, Alstom will deliver a total of 116 metro trains, comprising 464 cars, to operate on Stockholm’s metro system.
