Simply, as well, for sake of service rendered clients (quality), by batteries is better, than the no longer optimal, the vulnerable, etc., “overhead”, by wires.
Dependant of an own infrastructure and by nature, the most vulnerable of modes, neither railways, nor society, etc., afford, a railway infrastructure, which currently devastatingly is short of robustness (resiliency and redundancy)!
A shift, a robust, New Old Railway, is needed!
