Alstom to supply trams for Lille Metropolitan area

The Métropole Européenne de Lille (MEL) has selected Alstom to provide new trams for Line R and Line T of the Lille tramway network connecting Lille, Roubaix, and Tourcoing. The historic ‘Mongy’ line, after engineer Alfred Mongy who created the interurban lines, will see its existing rolling stock replaced in a move set to enhance the region’s public transportation system.
