Avanti West Coast makes first test run with new Hitachi trains

Avanti West Coast has kicked off a test programme for its new Hitachi-built rolling stock with a first successful test run to Llandudno Junction, the operator said on Thursday. The Class 805 bi-mode trains are expected to enter service later this year.
