Škoda expands to Middle East with first Egyptian locomotive overhaul
A locomotive of Egyptian National Railways, up for a modernisation provided by Škoda Group
The Czech Škoda Group has signed contracts with Egyptian National Railways (ENR) to modernise and maintain at least 280 diesel-electric locomotives, its first contracts in Africa and the Middle East. The total value of the project exceeds 1 billion euros.
