The Italian Municipality of Florence has awarded a 50 million euro contract to Alstom for the construction of essential infrastructure for Line 4.2 of the city’s tram system. The project, backed by funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, encompasses the track, catenary, substations, and lighting system, spanning over 11 kilometres with 24 stops.
