With 200 kilometres of network, the project involves the creation of four new lines around Paris, the extension of line 14, the construction of 68 stations and the development of new neighbourhoods around these future urban centres. Société du Grand Paris has awarded two major contracts for work on line 17, for the Gonesse Station, and Charles de Gaulle Airport, while tunnelling construction advances for line 16.
