Webinar: Modernisation of European rail infrastructure

Digital station solutions, source: Siemens Mobility

Many European governments see rail as a way to reach climate goals and handle congestion. Deutsche Bahn for instance is investing 86 billion euro’s in the next ten years to modernise its rail infrastructure. The German plans fit exactly in the worldwide trend of shifting the transport of people and goods to rail.

Germany is taking the first big step. What does European rail need in terms of digitalisation? What does the German railway investment mean for international cross border train connections? These questions will be addressed at the RailTech webinar: Modernisation of rail infrastructure on 17 April 2020, as an introduction to the online conference RailTech Infra Forum.
