French technology company Alstom has launched StationOne, an online marketplace developed for the railway sector. On 19 March, the solution has been opened for all buyers. It will be presented at the Railtech Europe Trade Fair in Utrecht, the Netherlands, from 26 to 28 March.

StationOne was developed in order to connect suppliers and manufacturers of the railway equipment with potential customers. Initially, it was presented at the InnoTrans Trade Fair in September 2018. The solution was based on simplicity, speed and security to ease the supply chain for the rail professionals.

“We are very pleased to have received such strong interest in StationOne from actors throughout the mobility business in the short time since it was announced last year. We are proud of being pioneers with this platform, which will facilitate operators’ procurement process and allow different vendors to access worldwide customers through a single online platform,” said Didier Bohin, President of StationOne.

StationOne details

StationOne works as an independent platform open for all manufacturers and buyers. The online marketplace has eight categories of products: Consumables, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, IT, Mechanical, Services and Tools & Furniture. A customer can sort products of each category with several parameters – manufacturer, currency, dimensions, material, specifications, model and other features. Currently, only the parts and commodities for the mobility industry are available on the StationOne online marketplace. It is expected that a product range will be expanded with IT solutions and other services.

StationOne will be presented at the Railtech Europe Trade Fair in Utrecht, the Netherlands, from 26 to 28 March.
