DB welcomes more passengers but still braces for ‘significant’ full-year loss

While Deutsche Bahn (DB) recorded an uptick in passenger travel during the first half of 2023, the company still expects to end the year with a ‘significant’ loss. Figures over the first six months released on Thursday also show continued difficulties for DB’s freight operations.
