As part of RailTech Europe 2017, during the RailTech expert series you will learn about important topics in the railway industry.
The RailTech expert series will cover three themes over three days:

Day 1 – 28 March 2017: European Railway Traffic Management System (ERTMS)
European countries are implementing the European Railway Traffic Management System (ERTMS) that will improve interoperability and safety. You will learn about the roll out strategy of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment. Also you will be informed about best practices from a diversity of countries, the development of Baseline number 3 and the latest innovations in ERTMS.
Day 2 – 29 March 2017: Digitalization in Railways
Not only the railway undertakings but also the infrastructure managers are investing in data to improve their processes and lower their operational costs. This will lead to Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) and Predictive Maintenance (PM).
Day 3 – 30 March 2017: Maintenance of Infrastructure
Learn about contract models in rail infrastructure maintenance and about the latest innovations to improve availability.
