RailTech Europe 2017

The 11th edition of RailTech Europe took place on 28-30 March 2017 in Utrecht (the Netherlands). The whole railway industry will came together at this event. RailTech Europe 2017 offered:

Intelligent Rail Summit 2016

The Intelligent Rail Summit 2016 took take place between 22 – 24 November in Naples, Italy. In cooperation with Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI), Europoint organised the Intelligent Rail Summit covered three areas of expertise:

The event took place at the Railway Museum in Naples. The conference offered a podium in order to discuss the developments and their directions, in a international setting. Read More >>

UIC Global Rail Freight Conference 2016

On 22, 23 and 24 June 2016, the International Union of Railways (UIC) organized the Global Rail Freight Conference in Rotterdam. The 5th anniversary of this event was organized under the Patronage of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment and will run Back-to-Back with the TEN-T Days and the European Rail Freight Corridor event.

The Global Rail Freight Conference (GRFC) is one of the leading events in the international rail freight calendar and brought together top executives and decision makers, rail and logistics professionals, customers, influential politicians and institutions from across the globe. The 5th edition of this event took place in Rotterdam and was a unique opportunity to exchange on rail logistics of the future looking at new business models, developing the skills of workforces and integrating new technologies and innovations. Track Access Charges Summit 2016

The 3rd conference on Track Access Charges (TAC Summit 2016) took place on 12 April 2016 at the SBB Headquarters in Bern, Switzerland. It was being organised by Graz University of Technology and Europoint.

The latest EU directives and implementing regulations for Track Access Charges aims to reduce the costs of railway operations and to harmonize TAC’s throughout Europe. The use of track-friendly rolling-stock is stimulated through lower TAC’s which result in lower overall transport costs essential to competing with other transport modalities. At the TAC Summit 2016 in Bern you will learn about the new directives using the SBB Swiss Wear Factor as real-life example. Over 14 Expert speakers from companies including Deutsche Bahn and Bombardier will present their views and solutions. Paris Conference 2016

Rail scientist and rail professionals in the field are continuously trying to improve the performance of the Wheel/rail interface, Reduce side effects such as Noise and Vibrations and the minimize the Environmental Impact of Rail.  The Rail Technology Conferences that took place from 26 – 28 January 2016 at the UIC headquarters in Paris focused on these 3 topics.  Read More >

RailTech Exhibition 2015

The organisation of RailTech 2015 looks back at a very successful event with more than 4.500 visitors from 14 different countries. We want to thank all the visitors and railway professionals who have made RailTech a big succes! The 11th edition of RailTech will take place on 28, 29 and 30 March 2017.

RailTech was the first joint event of ProMedia Group en Europoint. During RailTech Europoint CEO Johan Haarhuis officially passed the baton to ProMedia Group CEO Joan Blaas. Read More >

ERTMS Conference 2015

The organisation of RailTech 2015 is very proud and satisfied with the results of the rail conferences ‘ERTMS’ and ‘Rail Safety and Compliance’, which were held on the 18th and 19th of March 2015 in the Jaarbeurs, Utrecht.

In total 220 rail professionals from 14 countries participated in the conferences, which were organised concurrently with the three day railevent RailTech. During these conferences a lot of discussion was held and participants exchanged ideas and thoughts on important themes in the rail sector. Read More >

Rail Safety & Compliance Conference 2015

The organisation of RailTech 2015 is very proud and satisfied with the results of the rail conferences ‘ERTMS’ and ‘Rail Safety and Compliance’, which were held on the 18th and 19th of March 2015 in the Jaarbeurs, Utrecht.

In total 220 rail professionals from 14 countries participated in the conferences, which were organised concurrently with the three day railevent RailTech. Asset Management 2015

More than 100 railway professionals from all over the world shared their ideas on 3 February in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. They gave presentations about Asset Management. Around 40 high valued experts gave their views on these topics and started a discussion with the participants of the congres.

During the conferences attendants got the opportunity to attend different sociable and networking drinks and talk further during a special dinner that was arranged for visitors and speakers.
