Capturing CO2 from the air while running a train: it could even make diesel-fuelled train operation nearly carbon-neutral, according to new research. US-based startup CO2Rail Company, together with researchers from various universities, are working to design carbon-capturing equipment that can be used within special rail cars placed in already operational trains.

Good news, as any alternative, of current electrification, which, as vulnerable, suddenly has turned devastating!
(Compare how success story, the “automobile”, short “auto” and “bil”…, was started, when own energy converter, then, timely by petrol, was employed.)
Any technicality, suboptimal, now plaguing railways – and clients, with risks, now has to be outed! For sake of quality, for low risk, capacity and utilisation, of basics, of track, now should be top priority!

Wouldn’t the air intakes create additional drag on the train, requiring additional fuel consumption and offsetting some of the CO2 absorption benefits?
