
Vossloh fastens more high-speed railways in China
German rail technology company Vossloh continues to strengthen its presence on the Chinese market. The group was awarded by a 20 million euro order for delivery of fastening systems to be installed on the Weifang-Laixi high-speed line in the Northeastern part of the country. The supply will be fulfilled in 2019.
The new order is the third one for Vossloh Group in China during this year. Previous deals were signed in April and November. The deliveries provided by Core Components, Vossloh’s division, are scheduled mostly for 2019. The supplier also expects a substantial increase in sales in China in 2020.

Vossloh Group has been working in China since 2006. German company succeed to establish its own subsidiary in this country – Vossloh Fastening Systems China with a basement in Kunshan. The Chinese division has become a local leader in supplying of rail fastening systems for high-speed lines. German group considers China as a large potential market for its products due to its highly-developed high-speed railway network at about 25,000 kilometres. By 2025, some rail projects will be completed to enlarge the Chinese high-speed network to 38,000 kilometres.
