Track Access Charges Summit 2020 to take place in Latvia

The 2020 edition of the Track Access Charges Summit will take place at the Railway Museum in Riga, Latvia. LatRailNet and Latvian Railways will be hosting the event. The event will take place in either March or April of 2020.

The conference features six sessions, divided over the course of a day and a half. The first two sessions take place on the first day, followed by a networking dinner.

The programme committee is represented by Stefan Marschnig of the Graz University of Technology, along with several of his colleagues from the Research associate at the Institute of Railway Engineering and Transport Economy. Latvian Railways CEO Justina Hudenko joins them as part of the programme committee.

Platform

This event takes place every two years. It offers a unique platform to discuss best practices, latest regulations, cost calculation methods and to share experience related to Track Access Charges. The topics as well as the exact dates of the event will be disclosed later.

The location changes every edition to a different city in Europe. In 2018, the event took place in Amsterdam.
