The RailTech Academy is coming back with new online courses after the holiday break. Five lectures are scheduled for late August and the first half of September. This time the courses will be carried out by the experts of the Dutch IT consultancy company Strict.

On 26 August, the new season of the RailTech Academy courses will start. Its first lecture will be dedicated to railway communication. Dick Martens, a communication expert who is working for UIC on standardisation of FRMCS, will share his knowledge about implementing the 5G standard on the European railway network and the planned shift from the existing GSM-R to the Future Railway Mobile Communication System (FRMCS). The other courses will be also conducted by Strict’s professionals. They will cover various topics, from the ERTMS deployment to security cameras in public transport.
