More to Stadler than RS ZERO: CITYLINK tram-train graces InnoTrans

Stadler CITYLINK
The first complete Stadler CITYLINK vehicle bound for the Saarbahn goes on show at InnoTrans. Stadler Rail.

At InnoTrans ‘24, Stadler Rail presented a complete version of its new CITYLINK low-floor train for the first time. The vehicle, set for use on the Saarbahn network in southern Germany, is one of more than 500 of the tram-trains it will soon be delivering to Germany and Austria. Stadler says the arrival of the vehicles on the tracks next year will “mark the beginning of a new era” for the many respective networks. And let’s not forget the world premiere of the RS ZERO, Stadler’s hydrogen (or battery)-powered answer to regional rail, which is now officially going to be trialled in Thuringia.
