TRUWest: Network Rail awards ‘largest ever single contract’

Network rail has awarded a major contract for the TRUWest project. BAM UK and Ireland

Network Rail has awarded BAM a 950-million-euro contract to carry out construction on the next phase of the Transpennine Route Upgrade West (TRUWest) project in the north of England. BAM’s work is set to be completed in 2028. Meanwhile, the overall project, awarded to the TRUWest Alliance, is valued at 2.36 billion euros. That’s apparently “the largest single contract by value” that Network Rail has ever awarded.
