Belgium must scale back ‘most ambitious transport plan ever’
Belgium’s train operator SNCB has been forced to scale back and delay its ambitious plans to grow the country’s rail network only a year after announcing them, apparently due to a “significant” shortage of staff. Here’s what the company, after getting major funding from the Belgium government last year, is going to offer instead. And it’s not looking good for night trains.
