Czech Railways (ČD) has announced major changes to its 2025 timetable, the most significant being the introduction of the so-called ‘Baltic Express’ trains. Travelling all the way from Prague to Poland, the new long-distance services will dramatically shorten journeys from Czechia to the Baltic Sea. Case in point: travel times from the Czech capital to Poland’s Gdańsk will drop by an impressive three hours.
