Chicago builds out metro, with more to come
Mobsters, multi-storey and Metro. Think of Chicago, and three things come to mind. We’ve seen the movies, climbed to the top floors, but more than anything else, everyone in Chicago has used the metro. The “L”, clanking around the downtown loop may be the emblem of the city, but the metro that feeds into that the sky-high elevated railway is the powerhouse of America’s great city in the plains. Now, it’s about to get bigger.
